Week #2 for Iron-Man 3 at the box-office saw some competition in the form of “The Great Gatsby” but it was no match for the armoured avenger as Iron-Man 3 took first place once again. At the North American box-office the film brought in $72,525,615. It’s domestic total is now $284,946,699. In the foreign market Iron-Man 3 continues to break records. Adding $89.3 million from those markets, the foreign haul is now $664,100,000. All together Iron-Man 3 has collected a heroic $949,046,699.
Moving over to television, ABC Network has announced that they have ordered “Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D.” to series for the fall 2013 television season. The series will star Clark Gregg, in his popular role as Agent Phil Coulson from the various Marvel Studio’s films! It will be interesting to see how Coulson returns given his recent fate, what kind of cases the agents will face, and what if any Marvel Universe characters will cameo in the series!?
