Marvel Studio’s had originally planned to release the first footage of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” during a commercial segment on the Oct. 28th episode of “Agents of SHIELD.”  This would’ve been a great way to promote inter-company synergy, and to boost the ratings for the Marvel television series.  However, some of the best plans don’t always work out. The trailer for the sequel to the highest grossing superhero movie of all time was leaked online, which prompted Marvel to release an official high quality version themselves.  This trailer seems to be the exact footage seen at San Diego Comic Con in July. The trailer suggests a much darker tone to the sequel from the original film. This makes sense, given the events of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.  In it, we get to see and hear Ultron for the first time.  And even though I’m not a big fan of James Spader, his Ultron creeps me out.  We get quick glimpses of both new members of the group, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, as well as even quicker looks at all of the returning Avengers. Oh and did I mention Iron Man in his Hulkbuster Armor battling the Hulk. Check it out:
