Everyone gets excited about the Superbowl. It can bring out rivalries in the best of friends, even superheroes. Or at least, the actors that play them. The combatants in this years Superbowl were the Seattle Seahawks, and New England Patriots. Chris Pratt who played Star-Lord in “Guardians of the Galaxy” is a fan of the Seahawks, while Chris Evans who plays Captain America is a Patriots fan. The two superhero actors made a bet. The support of the losing team would visit a children’s hospital in full character costume, while wearing the winning Football teams jersey. The Patriots won, and Chris Pratt will visit a Boston area children’s hospital as Star Lord. Chris Evans, having won the bet agreed to join him as Captain America before the pair moves on to a children’s hospital in Seattle! What a fabulous heart-warming thing for both actors to do. The New England Patriots may have won the Superbowl, but the winners here are the kids. For a few hours, kids can put their ailments and troubles behind them and spend some time with their favourite superheroes.
