When Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman, a multitude of fanboys online a.k.a. the basement dwellers, highlighted their stupidity indicating that Gal Gadot wouldn’t make a good Wonder Woman. Their reasoning….Her breasts aren’t big enough, and she didn’t have enough muscle mass. Most actors and actresses don’t get a chance to respond to this special brand of idiot, but in a recent interview Gal Gadot was asked about these criticisms and responded accordingly; “Don’t be shy. They said that I was too skinny and my boobs were too small. [Laughs] I’m really lucky nothing in my life was instantaneous. When I was younger I would take criticism really hard. But now it mostly amused me. The true Amazons had one boob so it won’t bother them in their archery. So it’s not going to be like real Amazons. We always try to make everyone happy but we can’t.” More to the point she referred to these types of comments as follows; It’s just empty talk. I understand that part of what I’m doing means being exposed. And part of being exposed is being under fire.” I think it showed a real strength of character of Gal Gadot to confront these moronic types of comments. A very befitting move from the woman who will soon take up the mantle of Wonder Woman.
Much info about what to expect from Jared Leto’s Joker is finding its way onto the interwebs. However, little is know of what to expect from Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad.” Umberto Gonzalez of Latino – Review has found some tidbits of what’s in store for the character in the film. “Harley Quinn has a few looks throughout the film. Going from traditional with the animated series as a reference to prison attire & in one sequence where they infiltrate a club she wears a dress. Get this, her & Joker’s pet Hyena’s are in the film briefly. Apparently, Harley with the hyena’s are a big motif.” I’ve been on a real Harley Quinn kick as of late, and I so look forward to what Margot Robbie brings to the role.
