Can you feel it, The Dawn of Justice is approaching as Batman V Superman is set to hit theaters in just 17 days. Do you have your tickets yet? I sure do. On April 11, two weeks after Batman V Superman has its opening weekend, director Zack Snyder, and cast members, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher will all be headed to London England, to film part one of Justice League. Joining Ben Affleck’s Batman will be the new actor stepping into the role of Commissioner James Gordon. “Oscar winner J.K. Simmons has been cast as the Gotham City police commissioner.” The actor won an Oscar for his role in Whiplash, but superhero movie fans will remember him for his memorable performance as J. Jonah Jameson, Editor in Chief of the Daily Bugle, in Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man trilogy. This wasn’t mentioned in the article, but I think it’s a safe bet that the actor will also appear in the in development stand alone Batman film as well. This is absolutely fantastic news!
